Amanda Wall
B.Bus, CPA, MIIA (Australia).
Amanda Wall has a Bachelor degree in Business with a double major in Accountancy and Public Sector Financial Management, and is a qualified CPA.
Amanda proactively seeks to “make a difference”, and was appointed to lead the Queensland Audit Office’s Graduate Development Program as their in-house trainer, recruitment coordinator, and a field audit team leader for the financial statement audits of Government Departments and Local Governments in Queensland.
Also as a field audit team leader Amanda was also selected to represent the Queensland Audit Office publicly, speaking at several accounting conferences and regional forums about financial statement audits, common audit issues, auditing standards and asset accounting.
Amanda challenged the audit team’s traditional approach and embraced the mantra espoused by Dr Dan Kneer of ‘auditing smarter, not harder’, spearheading intensive change to the team’s audit approach, co-developing the formal audit methodology and establishing a competency framework for staff development.
Amanda is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Most recently Amanda was approached to be a representative speaker for the Dr Dan Kneer Advisory Group in the Australasia and South East Asia regions, and recently returned from presenting courses for IIA Singapore.
Amanda is Dr Dan’s prized pupil … his young Jedi warrior.
